Imagine a circle of powerful images (each one taller than the viewer) or a labyrinth of freestanding doors (supported by black wood frame stands). There are 64 doors in the collection. This monumental body of work presents a unique and wonderful exhibit experience.
If a smaller, more intimate experience is preferred, it is possible to select a series of doors which have a common theme.
“Uncover, Recover, Rejoice” is a theme which focuses on the process of healing. This exhibit was first introduced at the Orinda Community Center as an Open Studio event.
For a group exhibit titled “Common Duality” at the Olive Hyde Art Gallery in Fremont, California, the curator chose to focus on doors with powerful animal images.

In “The Journey” at the SOMAR Gallery in San Francisco, thirteen doors which described the stages of over-coming life challenge were chosen.
At the California Institute for Integral Studies, the images were selected for a 3-month exhibit based upon colors.
The doors have been used to help create sacred spaces for two wedding ceremonies.
The following additional themes each use 8 - 12 doors:
- Nature Speaks: exploring the wisdom of earth and her elements.
- Relationships: discovering self through interactions with others.
- Authenticity and Wholeness: recognizing personal worth.
- Challenges and Changes: exercising our talents and our strengths.
- Ingredients for Success: refining the art of right timing
- Return to Balance: developing the power of presence.
Each of these themes are documented with material that can be readily made into catalogues for the exhibit.
